Double-storey extension in St Albans

Chris and Eva trusted us to transform their mid-terrace house in the centre of St Albans, creating the extra space they needed to balance family life with working from home.

Their plans had already been drawn up by St Albans-based architect Duncan James Design, and planning permission had already been granted. We stepped in to bring those plans to life with meticulous attention to detail.

Over the course of three months, we built a double-storey rear extension that features a luxurious open-plan kitchen-diner, as well as creating space for a dedicated home studio for Eva’s business.

The beautiful kitchen is handmade from solid timber in a shaker style, finished with a two-tone colour scheme using paint from Little Greene and Farrow & Ball. It flows seamlessly into a new dining area, creating the perfect space for family living and entertaining.
